As one of the oldest buildings on Texas Tech campus, the Dairy Barn was deemed a historic structure. After many years of neglect, funds were finally raised to repair and renovate the structure to be used for offices, gatherings, and student study areas. Hartsfield Design was hired to help tell the story of dairy cattle, The History Dairy Barn and it’s meaning on the TTU campus. Creative and reclaimed materials were used to create donor, informational and decorative signage, an elevator shaft wrap with custom wallpaper, 2 touch screen kiosks, TTU alumni panels, artifact tags, and other small and large elements that bring this renovated environment to life.
